If the technical comittee decide that they are not legal then can you tell me how you would check every arrow of every competitior to make sure that they weren't hexshafts ? Aren't we getting into a slightly ridiculous and potentially embarassing scenario here ?

All Equipment is inspected at IFFA events so checking for Hex shafts wouldn't be a problem.
I didn't agree with allowing three fingers under rule introduced last year in the Longbow class and will still shoot spilt finger just like I will still shoot POC's if hex shafts are allowed, which by the way I think they should be allowed.
I think what's important and what we need to keep sight of is that the IFAA give Archers a reasonable choice in equipment and shooting style.
