Try the hexshafts - I have recently started shooting with them and find them streets ahead of the others as far as consistency and strength go, and I have converted from a 'fita barebow rig', as some would call it, to a flatbow. I was looking for something that would allow me to know whether the reason I missed was just me, and not just a variation in arrows
The hexshafts have so far proved to be absolutely brilliant
When I ordered them (direct from Canada) I asked for them to be matched, spine and weight, and this was done - now I just have to practice hard as the longbow technique is a little different to what I have been using, though I have tried to keep as much the same as possible, to reduce the possibilities for error

IMO, woodies are in a class of their own and can't be compared to synthetic shafting such as carbon, aluminum and f'glass. There are LOTS of variances with wood arrows, and since you seem to have a long draw that will make wood selection tougher for you. I 2nd Karen's recommendation for hex pines - IMO they're a tad easier to keep straight and sort out for both spine and weight, and since the shaft is build like a split bamboo fly rod, the spine stiffness is very uniform 360 degrees around the shaft - no need for a spine meter to find the stiff side. These dayze I only shoot hex pines for target, roving and hunting.
You will pay more if you order hex pines direct from the Canadian manufacturer. I get mine from Bob Burton at for $24/dozen, matched in spine (4#) and weight (5grs). They come in 5/16", 11/32" and 23/64" in diameter, and can be had parallel, tapered and/or footed.
