With a longbow, it's a matter of r/d design - the aggressive "hybrid" ones react much more like an "uncoiling" recurve, but without a recurve's limb tip slap (on release).

I am guessing that mostly I shoot jagdbogen. Nice pictures. Thanks.

Roger,
I am sticked to my old-style german longbow with the skinny arrows - not because I think its the best, but I see no reasons for changing...
Reagarding Florida at christmas I have to see how things will work out. Since I am now on a new project in Hong Kong that keeps me busy at minimum until end of December I am not so sure that this will work out this year. But as I believe you plan to go to Switzerland, this might be the chance to see us again.
