Been a while since I last posted. How are you all?n
I came to a pretty momentous decision this last weekend. I was invited up to Border Archery in Scotland to take part in a three-day shoot - two days of a 36 peg, 66 target field course, and one day of shooting clout and moving targets. Barebow only. I picked up some second-hand arrows, set up my old target bow and drove up.
At the end of the first day, I had a grin about this wide on my face 
Here are some pictures of the weekend. I've yet to sort out the images from day 3. They include pictures of a Black Reiver bow which I fell in love with, but she's too short and powerful for me (60in, 60lb @ 28in). In the pictures, I'm the only one with a target recurve bow (without sights or stabs, of course).

It was a hell of a blast. I reckon I'll have to work out a way to get up there at least twice a year for more shooting.
I'll let you know when I've got the other pics up.

What I can't figure out is what's all that green stuff? Where's the rocks and sand? And how much irrigation does it take to get all that plant stuff to grow? (LOL)n
Just kidding from down here in the desert. It was 113 yesterday, "but it's a dry heat"!n
