FWIW, for the IFAA longbow folks or anyone that appreciates "classic" traditional longbow aesthetics ...

The 62" version of the one piece Horne's Traditionalist longbow (and the Horne three piece Combo Hunter longbow) shows a very snakey set of aggressive r/d limbs when unbraced and yet forms a *perfect* "D" shape when braced - no flat spots at all (as is sometimes seen on bows like the 21st Edge). The Horne is rock solid.

Another really neat quality of the 62" Traditionalist is the total lack of limb "wobble", where grabbing one limb and the string, somewhat near a tip, will collapse the limb and even blow the string right off the bow (I saw that happen with an Adcock ACS this past weekend - scary stuff!!!).

Admittedly, 62" is short for an IFAA longbow, but Mark's design allows for very long working limbs that belie the short length. My draw length is closer to 29" than 28" and the draw is smooth, stack free, and no noticeable string angle pinch.

Yep, that's common for any bow using reverse tapers to "cam over". You'll see this on some 21st Century models, Morrison Dakotas, ect....Most of it is the shooter alowing the brace height to get too low. Last time I checked bows were supposed to be held by the grip, not the limb! .....O.L.
