Hi John , Just to add my 2c you really cant go wrong with the 21st Century , and Milton Callaway makes them now and does in My opinion a darn good job
Myself Redbow,Tim VanVoorhis, and Steve Morley all shoot the new 21st century bows, and there are quite a few others that have put up some excellent scores with them as well, if you look under the scores and records in Fl you'll see the names. They aren't as pretty as most of the longbows you'll find out there but for speed, stability and consistency are definitely very hard to beat at the price. 3 months average build time, and Milton is a very nice guy to work with and is more than happy to help you with any questions you might have
Bows
n n 68" 42# @28 pakka wood riser bamboo limbs and carbon and
70" 44# @ 28 Cocobolo riser bamboo limbs and carbon , I draw 29
the pics are of the 2 that I own and the 60yd target picn
n was the maiden outing for my last bow ( 70", 4 carbons 4 woodies. woodies 11/32 RR shafts 29 1/2 100grn points 3 1/2 helical fletchesn 430grn average weight
Carbons Redline 600 cut 30 1/2 100grn points 330 grn total 2" fletch helical. With a split finger release, middle finger corner of the mouth I get a 50yd point on with the woodies and a 55yd point on with the carbons. if I cut the carbons down to 29 1/2 point on goes to 60 yds
Hope this helps
Roger
