Steve,n
Although this doesn't go over well with some in the "trad" crowd, I have gotten the most and best information on form and technique from the Olympic recurve shooters. Obviously as a life long, dedicated Barebow recurve shooter I have to dis-regard everything they say about sights, clickers and stabilizers but when it comes to basic form and shot execution those people know what they are talking about. One of the best is still McKinney's The Simple Art of Winning. Also worth reading (but expensive) are Lee's Total Archery and Frangelli's The Heretic Archer.

Thanks, Dave.
The TradTalk store carrys the simple art of winning. Since I was considering getting some other stuff from Robert, I'll throw the McKinney book on the list.
I'll do a field round this weekend and will post my scores as long as you guys do laugh too hard...

I will second Dave's recommendation for 'The Simple Art of Winning'. It has been my most important reference, even though I mainly shoot the longbow, often with Howard Hill's swing draw method.
