A Pacific storm front is supposed to hit central Arizona today and through tomorrow. I am signed up to shoot a FITA 900 round Saturday morning - Barebow Recurve class.
Shooting 60, 50 & 40 meters is a pretty good test for any barebow shooter under ideal conditions. In wind and rain it should be very interesting to say the least. I'll report back on how it goes (LOL).

Rain in AZ. does it actually hit the ground or evaporate in the air. Good luck.

Two weekends (well, Friday and Saturday) in a row we've had measurable rain. Last before that was something like March.
Interesting thing about shooting this tournament in less that ideal weather was that I let the weather beat me. What I mean is, I learned I was thinking more about the wind, the rain and being cold than about shooting. Consequently my performance was pretty bad. I'm not up set because I learned a valuable lesson. I let the week's worth of weather news get to me and forgot about actually shooting. You'd think someone as old as me would know better wouldn't you? (smiley face goes here)n
I'll know better, and do better next time!n
