I noticed that nobody is posting form videos here. What do you guys think? They could go to the "Training Journal" section
I bring this up for a reason. Just for the hell of it I posted a form video of myself at another forum. Most responses to my video said that I was dropping my bow arm before the shot. A frame by frame re-analysis of the video revealed the problem. I'm a gap shooter! The target was close so I had to gap down. The instinctive shooters all took my setting of my gap as dropping my bow arm BEFORE the shot. (This is not to say that I don't still sometimes drop after the shot. Gotta work on that!)
So I bring up the video thing because I believe that this crowd here may have a better understanding of what is really going on.

Well, if anybody else here is like me, if I see a video of myself, I can tell what I'm doing wrong. Unless it's to quick or subtle to show up on video, then video isn't much help.

I've always wanted to buy a high speed video camera for just that reason. To really see what's going on with all parts of the shot. One day I finally found out they make a consumer level DIGITAL high speed camera, but it's packaged in a cell phone/blackberry type thing which I have no use for.

If they could make just the video camera, I'd buy one. Get rid of all the other junk with it, and it might only cost about 300 bucks.

It's called the Viewty KU990. It can shoot at 120 frames per second. There are lots of video demos on youtube and such. Only about $500.
