Hi
What internet traditional archery distributors would you recommend for finding a quiver (hip or back) for my friend's new barebow archer wife? She is a target archer.
Or, if there any 'real places' anywhere near Massachusetts that you would recommend, please let me know.
Thanks,
Rob

I'm a barebow recurve field archer. That's a kind of target shooting (LOL). I find the Vista Hombre side quiver in black Cordura nylon to be an excellent quiver. Rain, mud, sweat, nothing hurts it. I cut off three of those plastic golf club tubes and stuck them in it. Holds groups of arrows separate but easily accessible. You can easily carry a dozen target arrows that way. Lancaster and most of the Pro Shops I've wandered into carry Vista stuff.

It is my observation that few women choose backquivers, hardly any. Lancasterarchery.com has a large selection of side quivers for her to look at. Once she gets an idea what she would like it might be good to try on some at your nearest dealer. Those shops are getting scarce and need our business to survive. - lbg

Art Vincent of Cedar Ridge Leather Works makes some of the most beautiful custom quivers you can find.

IMO, with target archery in mind, front or rear facing side quivers really are better and more practical.

My friend asks me to thank you for your help. He is actively following up on your recommendations, and has already found and ordered stuff that he had been previously unable to find.
Thanks for your help.
