LOL - The only consolation to my difficulty in finding arrows (and 70" longbows) is the free horse power I get from my long firing stroke. O.L Adcock claims you get about 4% for every inch over 28" and loose the same for every inch under 28". Based on that I get the same performance out of my 40# Barebow Recurve someone else gets from shooting a 47# bow drawn to 28".
Good thing too as my aging back and shoulders can't take the heavy poundage anymore. (smiley face goes here)

Interesting that you mentioned the 21st Century. On their web page it says maximum draw is 32". When I contacted the to ask about my 32.75" draw they were un-interested in selling me a longbow.
I'm just don't trust the idea of the 68" ones Rob. Heck, I shoot 70" recurves. (smile)

Dave have you talked to Ron King at Fox? That triple crown at 70" might be just the ticket (also around $700.00).

Scott,
The Triple Crown is one of the 70" longbows I have been looking at. That thing is beautiful. I was hoping to get into this longbow business for less than the cost of a 27" Luxor (LOL).
Rob,
I don't think my tendonitis (bow arm elbow) can stand any of the HH models.

I agree Dave - reflex longbows are shockers of a sort, for sure. My guess is that there IS a bowyer out there willing to accommodate your needs - gotta dig around, make inquiries, else you'd hafta part with some hefty loot.

Spent 45 minutes on the phone with Mike Fedora today. Learned quite a bit, including there is no way to get a "custom" bow with out paying big bucks. Don't begrudge him the money, he's spent years learning his craft and it ain't easy to turn out bows with his long standing recognition for quality and performance. Still, this is gonna take some thinking! (smile)
