Great video of the finals here:
Interesting to note the Ukrainian puts his thumb behind his neck!

Thumb behind the neck target anchor has been around a long time. Champion Jim Pickering used it back in the mid 60's with devastating results. Had some great pics of his shooting style in that little 60's "Power Archery" pamphlet, but can't seem to find it ...

It was popular with the Soviets and some of their former satellites still teach it. The world famous Michael Frangili shoots that way...and it drives the BEST style folks nuts (LOL).

The one thing that impressed on me the most was there control of the shot. One of the Americans repetedly would let down take a breath with 12 seconds left start again and put it in the 10 ring.Talk about pressure!
I will never listen to anyone tell me again pull it back and let it go.20yds isn't 70meters but controlling that shot puts it in the gold.(IMO)

That was Vic Wunderle. He is know for that and yes it was giving me fits watching. Thankfully I could listen to Khatuna yelling at him "comon baby just shoot etc, etc." to break the tension.
Rob, I have the power archery book and I'll have to look for those pics of Jim.
Dave, I went to a seminar by Kisik Lee a couple of years ago and he did show some pictures of Michele showing his low draw as a good example. He was less than enthusiastic for the rest of his gyrations while setting up the shot though.
