This summary shows scores/rankings after each round (Longbows at bottom of page) didn't start off great and kept hanging in on the elimination rounds, once I figured in my head what I needed to do I was ok.
You start of shooting 20 targets then down to 12 and the last two rounds only 4 targets which means it bloody easy to screw up. The tourney was held in the middle of the city and course were specially designed so the public\press could watch everything, very different from anything I've done before.
30m (33yards) is max distance for Recurves and Longbows, the closest shot was 3 yards. the 4 targets in the semi and final I estimate were around 15y raccoon, 30y large Deer, 24y Boar and 27y for Pronghorn all fairly straight forward to hit but with everybody watching adds and element of pressure hence the Frenchman missing the Boar, plus you have 60 seconds to reach the peg and shoot as soon as the last shooter steps away, for the team event of Compound, Recurve and Longbow it's 2 min for all three shooters, you have a judge with a stopwatch, go over the time and lose the score.
posted so clips of Recurves and Longbows on Youtube just search 'Fita 3D Italy'
