After months of shooting miserable 300 round scores with woodies, tonight I broke my all time record which I had previously obtained with carbons.
267.
I could not believe how I was hitting. I've been shooting my butt off the past few days getting ready for the IBO Worlds this week....just trying to force better scores by sheer will and determination.
Today I shot 4 rounds+ (close to 300 arrows). After my third 300 round, I was exhausted, but something had clicked in my shot, and everything was just falling in the middle. So I had to shoot one more round. For most of the final round, "it" kept happening and arrow after arrow fell in the center. My face is sore, my fingers are numb, but I pulled off my best shooting ever.
I need to burn that memory/feeling in forever and call it forth when I need it!
