Yikes! That's a tall order: "good but cheap"! We're talkn' woodies, I guess?
I've found real cheapo woodies are, well, crap - rough wood, not too straight and even if the weights are close then the spines are off, and/or vice-versa. Don't pay, since I like to try my best to hit the mark with regularity. I just got a good deal from Arrows by Kelly, 100 POCs for less than $90 all up. Worth an email, check his site -
http://www.stickbow.com/arrowskp/index.html
Rogue River usually had deals on 2nds that they call stump shooting specials. I got a dozen last year. They were Horrible. But their first class POCs were Beautiful, but not cheap.
You get what you pay for, I'm afeared.

------------------
Rob DiStefano

[This message has been edited by RFD (edited 01-15-2000).] |

Pardner if you want cheap you get cheap usually. Have you thought about making your own. If you don't know how Rob has a site that will explain (In plan english) how to do it. Try "Tee and Me" Lone wolf archery. You can get pretty good paralells for about
$13 per dozen. ( A little cheaper by the hundred.) And there is a lot of satisfaction in shooting something you've made. Shot straight. Art |
