In a few words ... tight fit! Adjust the strap to a tighter fit that will not have the bucket flopping around. This is the reason I've always used a buckle to join the top and bottm straps (instead of lacing the two straps together) - makes it easier to get the right fit no matter how much, or how little, clothing you've got piled on. The fit is the key - or, as you've noticed, you'll have fits!

------------------
Rob DiStefano

You can also tie in a piece of the leather lacing to the bottom of the quiver and tie it to a belt loop on the same side as your arrow hand. (The hand you use to draw the bow.) This prevent the quiver from slipping around and will hold it in place so you can reach your arrows. But Rob is right, adjust the fit till it is snug. This also will help
prevent your arrows slipping out when you bend over.
But, lets face it, part of the fun in using a back quiver is the search for the right arrow. shoot straight, Art.
