Here's a little helful hint to all you 3-D
shooters. Ever experience target burn with your woodies. I have.
Get some two part epoxy the kind that comes in the double tubs. Eight hour set-up is fine.
Mix it one part expoxy to three parts acceton
A baby food jar is perfect meausring device. One aplicatior of the expoxy and fill the jar up with acceton.
Mix them together well and with a cotton swab or piece of cotton teeshirt wipe it on the first 10 inches of your wood shafts. I said wipe not scrub. A single swipe of the mix is all that is needed per coat. A couple of coats is all that is needed.
No target burn on at least a hundred shots with some of my arrows. Viola!!
Art
