Rob<P>There is no longbow division as such in the NAA. Longbows are shot in the national tournaments as "barebows". They shoot the regular FITA rounds.<P>Preceeding the National outdoor tournament and at the same location, the American Chapter of the British Longbow Society holds a national championship. there are two divisions, traditional longbow and modern longbow. Both require longbows (not recurves) and the archers must use wood arrows. You may not use an arrow rest in the traditional div and may use a simple rest in the modern longbow div.<P>Both groups shoot a York round, american round and a clout round. Women shoot a National round and a Columbia round replacing the York round.

The compound-fingers class is only in the Masters div. This class was put in to make the NAA shooting style classifications the same as that of the National Senior games (ages 50 and above).<P>There are no changes in the bare bow classifications
