I let Ray Axford influence my draw -- start off with both bow hand and string hand at eye level, then draw down with both hands. It is a wonderfully comfortable draw, but makes it a bit hard to aim because I don't acquire the target until late in the draw.

So -- I followed the advice of many, acquired the target at predraw, and drew straight back, keeping on target throughout the draw. And they were right -- it sure makes aiming easier.

But it feels like I have given up a lot of stability. The bow hand is less steady, and the bow feels a lot heavier. Wonder if there is a way to have both stability and early aim.

I tend to start a little higher than eye level, I agree it is a good draw. I s l o w d o w
when comming back to my reference point, I know what you mean by acquiring the target late in the draw, the slowing down may help. It is always worth a try
