I've heard that some organizations require an absolutely uniform riser and limb for barebow or for traditional tournaments. Does that mean that a two-color riser, such as the Infinite or the ExFeel, is illegal?

The risers you speak of may be subject to protest. Any concerns could be addressed with a piece of tape or some paint to create a uniform surface in regards to color, marks, blemishes, etc.

Is there a 'preferred' bow for traditional recurve, or recurve barebow? I know that you and many others share a preference for longbow -- and in the last Olympics, most of the top archers shared a bow preference. I haven't seen that many traditional archers or barebow archers to know what is popular.

Have been looking at single-color metal risers (I really don't want anyone taping up my riser). And, almost every single riser has holes of various shapes and sizes cut throughout the sight window.

If the rules committee complains about colors and patterns, won't they complain about various holes in the sight window?n
Does EVERYONE shoot with a taped-up riser? Or are there a few accepted barebow risers of a single color and no discernable pattern in the sight window? Or are holes ok?
