I've been buying arrows a dozen at a time.
I typically compete in tournaments requiring you to shoot 4, sometimes 5, sometimes 6 arrows per end.
Over the season, my set of a dozen arrows shrinks; when it approaches the number needed to compete, I get more. Trouble is, most times, I get a 'new and better' arrow -- or at least 'different'. So I don't replenish my set -- I create a brand new set.
So, what have I acquired over time? Lots and lots of sets of matched arrows -- but they are little sets -- 4 of this, 5 of that. Not enough to compete with. And really not appropriate for practice, either.
I can't throw them out -- they are fine arrows. But I don't know what they are good for, either.
Suggestions?
