Just received my new 40# viper deluxe. What a bow! Anyway, looking for info maybe you have that would help me with spine selection. I pull 29", I have a 12 strand S4 string on it with one set of spider silencers. 30" 2016's group very well with points but hit about 2"-4" left with 100gr Magnus broadheads. Try 1916's? Suggestions?

Me? A Viper expert? Hah! :D
My Viper (labeled 40# @ 28") really is 37-1/2# @ 28" and 40# @ 29".
I've been shooting 29" Jazz 1816 XX75 shafts, target points (about 75 grains), 4" feathers. They go fast and straight.

In your case, I'd try 125 grain Wensel Woodsman (to lower the arrow spine - plus, it's a better broadhead IMO :D :saywhat:
