It seems that Bernadini have come out with a new range of recurve risers, with a couple of barebow risers. The model is the Nilo, and it comes in 25 and 23in models:n

Pretty ugly, and I really don't like the look of that grip, but I thought someone here might be interested.

Very interesting. Looks like you can have a custom grip AND get your hand a little closer to the arrow than normal -- good things for a barebow shooter:)

Well, the grip choice is a good thing, but not when much of your hand is going to be on metal. Well, not IMHO anyway. I know some people like this style of grip (the Radian had one like it), but I think it's awful. Still, as we know, every archer likes different things. It's what keeps life interesting

My Wing Comp II has a metal grip that is an integrated part of the riser -- I haven't found it any more or less comfortable than wooden grips -- although I like the look of wood better.

What I find intriguing about the Nilo is that the metal part of the grip looks like it is mainly for positioning your bow hand, and the wood part bears all the weight.
