I live near Altoona, PA and every shoot around here that I know of is the 20 yd. 600 round indoors. I would like to try the 300 round sometime this winter. Does anyone know of any shoots or a club that shoots the 300 in central PA? Thanks for the help, John

Hi John. Guess what. The only indoor range w/ceiling high enuff for me to shoot my 70" 'dot bow' closed up over the summer. Now I guess I'll either have to shoot my heavier (but shorter) 56# limbs or sit in a chair. Hehehehe. Dang, I haven't shot either of my target 'curves since last year. If I ever kill a buck I think I'll knock the dust off that Hoyt & give the dots another whirl. Great fun! Hope ya find some shooting budds up there close that're up for some 300 rds.

Cedar - I tried to send an email to your listed address but it bounced. Your address must be incorrect. It included a number of double 300 FITA rounds scheduled in Pennsylvania. You can also contact the PSAA for 300 NFAA rounds.

Sure do. Appleway Archers in St. Thomas, PA. Just outside Chambersburg. I don't know when the winter shoots start, but they have a weekly "open to the public" night for 300 round. Mostly compound shooters but you can shoot what you want. They also have a traditional league but I think that is 600 round. Let me know if you want more details.
