Robend, sorry you won't be making it this year. It's great that you considered coming and it sounds like you have found another tournament that you can attend. You might consider coming to the Worlds in July at Watkins Glen. It will be an International event, many top notch archers will be there.
I shoot 4 inch gateway feathers, left wing, left helical on a bitztenburger jig. I use Dodge nocks. Gasket lacquer finish on the arrows, from Waterloo. 125 grain points with a total finished arrow weight of 460 grains. I am going to try some lighter arrows during the spring tournaments and evaluate them for groups and score.

I shoot Rogue River Archery tapered POC shafts. I saw that RRA is now producing a parallel shaft priced less than their tapered. If you ask Paula at RRA she can give you the specs on my RRA shafts.

Hi Larry, I always thought your arrows were much lighter than that because your 21st Edge is only 42#n I've recently changed from a 480 grain RR shaft down to 395 Grain shaft and started using a BCY 8125 instead of a Dyna 97 string, I'm pleased with the results, I'm now getting much better stability and arrow flight out of my 49# 21st Edge. Thanks for the tip last year on BCY products it saved me a lot of experimenting
My Recurve shooting friend is shooting 300 Grain RR shafts, as you can imaging they are very fast and flat, as far as I can tell RR are the only company that can supply POC shafts to such fine tolerances.
