I occasionally shoot a 50lb Mongolian recurve with a thumbring, ang have never managed to get the arrows to fly straight, they always fly to the right. (I am right handed, and put the arrow on the right of the bow when using the ring)n I have tried different spines, but assumed that I couldn't get the technique right. However, I was lent a 50lb Scythian recurve the other day, and tried that with the thumbring, the arrows went as straight as I would expect from my longbow, so meybe it is not my shooting that is causing the bad flight from the Mongolian. Has anybody got any ideas or suggestions?n

I shoot with the thumb ring exclusively.

Have you tried different string length / brace height to solve your problem?n
