Hard to believe it's been 9 years since I last posted here. But it's fun to look back at where I was and compare it to where I am. Today was an extra special day to me in my shooting training because I shot a 287 on a 300 round. Over the last 3 years or so, after switching from longbows (Sorry, Howard Hill, you hurt my shoulder too much) to an ILF system...Hoyt Epic Riser, Samick limbs and magnetic flipper rest/plunger, I've been pretty consistently shooting in the 260's. Only in the last couple of weeks have I hit 270+ maybe 4 times. Before today my high score was 275. I even shot a full round earlier today (269) and almost didn't shoot a second because my shoulder was so tired. Well, I compensated for the fatigue by getting more in line, which usually makes my string hit my left pec. So I had to straighten out my cant a bit too. When all was said and done, I beat my previous high score by 12 full points. Could not believe it. Cloud 9 the rest of the day. Sad part is, nobody else cares except maybe some old friends from a forgotten forum. If nothing else, this can serve as documentation that I can look back on and smile in another ten years. |

It has been a while, but I noticed. I come and check here sometimes. Well done BTW! Sounds like having better alignment paid off. |
