Hi All
Got a chance to shoot some field today. 1st try at a "field" round
Scored a 127. Better than I thought, considering my inconsistencies. At the 45-40 35-30 walkup I missed on all 4 arrows!!! I shot a second time with the same result and simply decided to move on.
What killed me was the prior target was the club's 60 yard "cliff shot". I got 3 hits for an 11 (4,4,3) and then the walkup.
I did try a new (for me) technique. For the downhill shots, I kept my knees straight but pushed my hips back in the direction of my bowarm.
n It worked quite well.

First field target I ever shot at was setup in front of a ravine. My first arrow whispered quietly over it off the cliff. Second arrow was better -- it whanged off the roof and then over the cliff. It got better after than 
Field archery is a joy -- and as you get better and better at it, it can be fun to look back at where you started out
