Well I'll be on a plane tomorrow making my way to Yankton.
Shooting has been pretty good this year with a lot of focus on 3D, I did have a setback for a couple of weeks where everything just felt average but last week and this weekend has looked up. Last week shot a Fita 3D and IFAA 1 shot 3D and only missed one arrow on both rounds, this weekend just did Estonian Bowhunters with 1 arrow 3D, unmarked paper Animal round and 2 shot 3D, after first 1 shot 3D round I was 16 points behind but shot a great Animal round and again on the 2 shot 3D and won by 170 points.
Just hope all all stays solid for next week

Here are the results.
Steve, I can't believe you let Dana beat you.
How was it?

Todd it just wasn't my tourney, a lot of things went wrong that were out of my control and affected my shooting, one being I had bad reaction on my Bowhand to insect bite and the meds got swelling down but kinda screwed my focus.

What an outrage you cannot believe that I beat Steve M.
I know that he is an Ifaa world champion and that he has beaten me in our last 5 meetings.
However on day three Steve's game just did not fire on all cylinders, I shot over 300 and Steve shot 260
which really put him out of the tournament.
My archery game is really more suited to ibo because that's the game Americans play.
So when I make the switch to Ifaa it really is a huge struggle for me.
My Iffa game has been getting stronger and stronger since Switzerland worlds.
I was very confident with the log range shots 45 to 60 yards and I guess that's where I scored well.
Truth is without Steve's help I would not have even been in the tournament.
On day 2 may bow was left at the house (my fault) and Steve had to navigate me back to the house.
We were late to the shoot but just within the 30 min technical break down time limit.
Day 2 was shot in the rain.
The top American was Gregg Lindsey who shot 2 great 3 arrow rounds, he was shooting a Fox triple crown.
Archery is a funny game some days your are so on your game, and at other times one cannot hit the Side of an old red barn.

Wow you both must have been sweating it out on day two after forgetting your bow!
I would have a rough time at IFAA distances. My current setup puts my point-on at about 30 yards!
Thanks for filling me in.
